Hosts the famous 'Villa Celimontana Jazz Festival' each summer evening.
Piazza della Navicella, 00184 Roma RM, Italy
A small, peaceful park on the Caelian Hill, just minutes from the Colosseum but rarely crowded with tourists. Centred on the Mattei family's 16th-century villa (now home to the Italian Geographical Society — closed to the public). The garden features an Egyptian obelisk of Ramses II surrounded by ancient Roman fragments, classical statues, and shaded benches under umbrella pines. Hosts the celebrated Villa Celimontana Jazz Festival every evening from June to September — outdoor concerts in a magical setting.
