A circular Roman tomb (1st century BC) on the Appian Way, dedicated to a Roman noblewoman; later converted into a 14th-century medieval castle (Castrum Caetani) by the Caetani family who controlled this stretch of the Appia. Open archaeological park around the monument with views over the surrounding countryside. The combined Appia ticket also gives access to the Villa of the Quintilli and Capo di Bove on the same road.
