Catacombs of San Callisto

The largest and most important early Christian catacomb — 20km of tunnels on four levels with around half a million burials, including 16 popes from the 3rd century and Saint Cecilia, patron saint of musicians. Tours run continuously in multiple languages, last about 45 minutes, and stay around 15°C year-round.
