A Trevi Fountain institution since the early 1990s, made famous globally by Elizabeth Gilbert's Eat, Pray, Love. No cones — cups only (the staff maintain that a cone's flavour would overpower their delicate gelato). Airtight stainless-steel covered containers protect each flavour from oxidation. Quality and freshness are paramount; flavours are sophisticated and uncommon. A natural, no-artificial-colouring approach results in muted, earthy tones. Perpetually crowded, but gelato quality consistently justifies it.
