Just a handful of tables in two cramped rooms, but the food is honest, hearty, and absolutely delicious — carbonara that hits all the right notes, meatballs that melt, the famous pistachio-laced tiramisu. Wine list is short but well-chosen, with a particular focus on small-producer organic wines. Queues are routine but the wait moves quickly; better to arrive early or book ahead. A genuine Trastevere experience.
