Parco Archeologico del Colosseo

The 77-hectare archaeological park covering the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, and Domus Aurea. Created in 2017 as an autonomous administrative body, unifying the central archaeological zone of Rome under one ticket. While mainly an archaeological zone, the Palatine Hill section in particular includes the Farnese Gardens — Rome's first private botanical garden, created in the 16th century — as well as wide green spaces atop the hill.
