A late-Renaissance palace housing the celebrated Ludovisi collection of ancient sculpture, including the Galatian Suicide and the controversial Ludovisi Throne. The collection was assembled in the 17th century by Cardinal Ludovico Ludovisi from villas across Rome. Frescoed loggias and a quiet courtyard make it one of the loveliest small museums in the city.
