Inside the Great Synagogue (1904) in the Jewish Ghetto, this museum traces the 2,000-year history of Rome's Jewish community — the oldest Jewish community in Europe. Includes silver Torah ornaments, ghetto-era objects, and a moving section on the Nazi deportation of 16 October 1943. Closed Saturdays for Shabbat.
