Established in 2004 by Stefano and Silvia — everything made on-site from Italian-sourced ingredients with visible laboratory. Known for exceptional creative combinations (white choc + basil; dark choc + red wine) that shouldn't work but absolutely do. Filtered water and freshly delivered milk. The cones are taken seriously as a component. The location — a narrow cobbled street steps from Piazza Navona — is among the most atmospheric in Rome. Also a second location on Lungotevere dei Vallati facing Trastevere. Always queued in the evenings; the line moves fast.
