A Prati institution since 1919 with burnished wooden panelling, period artwork, and vintage espresso machines that feel unchanged for decades. The signature drink is the 'Caffè 1919': a punchy espresso served in a porcelain cup pre-lined with a layer of melted dark chocolate. Also: cappuccino freddo, affogato with zabaione gelato, Irish coffee, French coffee with cognac, and seasonal granita. Three locations across Rome. One of the city's most distinctive coffee personalities.
