One of Rome's main Latin Mass churches — services almost exclusively in Latin per the old rite.
Piazza della Trinità dei Pellegrini, 1, 00186 Roma RM, Italy
Founded by Saint Philip Neri in the 16th century as a hospice for poor pilgrims arriving for Holy Years (he washed their feet personally). The current building, with its curving Baroque facade by De Sanctis (1723), holds Guido Reni's painting of the Holy Trinity above the high altar — a celebrated work of his maturity. Since 2008, the church has been entrusted to the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter, making it one of Rome's main centres for the Tridentine Latin Mass. Services follow the pre-Vatican II rite almost exclusively.
