Foro Italico Complex
Multi-sport
Each venue sells tickets separately — see individual venue entries. The complex itself is open to the public as a park and architectural attraction (free entry). The Mussolini mosaic at the entrance and the marble Stadio dei Marmi are free to visit. The Foro Italico is one of the great sports complexes in the world — a Mussolini-era development built in the 1930s on the Tiber banks north of the Vatican. Contains: Stadio Olimpico (football/rugby/athletics), Campo Centrale del Tennis, Stadio Nicola Pietrangeli, Next Gen Arena, Stadio dei Marmi (Pietro Mennea), Stadio Olimpico del Nuoto (swimming), and multiple training facilities. The approach from the Ponte Duca d'Aosta — with its obelisk, mosaic pavement, and marble statues — is one of Rome's most dramatic sports experiences.
