Via Margutta (Artists' Street)

Rome's most romantic shopping street — a quiet, cobblestoned lane tucked between Via del Babuino and Via della Croce (near the Spanish Steps), lined with art galleries, antique dealers, sculptors' studios, and independent boutiques. Via Margutta has been the address of artists, bohemians, and intellectuals for centuries: Picasso stayed here, and Audrey Hepburn lived here with Gregory Peck in Roman Holiday.
