Gabriele Bonci's bakery near the Vatican — distinct from his famous Pizzarium — producing some of the finest artisan bread and pastries in Rome. Long-fermented sourdough loaves, exceptional focaccia and pizza bianca, cornetti with house-made fillings, and occasional porchetta sandwiches. A morning visit is essential; the selection diminishes rapidly. The bread alone makes it worth seeking out.
