Steps from the Spanish Steps, this tiny family-run pasta counter has become legendary for serving fresh handmade pasta at €5 a portion. Just two dishes daily — one with meat (typically carbonara, amatriciana, or ragu), one vegetarian (cacio e pepe, pesto, arrabbiata) — refilled when each runs out. No seating; eat standing inside or take away. Lines form before opening at 13:00. The dried pasta is also sold to take home. A genuine working-class Roman institution surviving in the heart of the luxury shopping district.
