A small but exceptionally beautiful park on the Janiculum slopes between Trastevere and Monteverde, featuring rococo statues, ornate fountains, and pergolas in a deliberately whimsical late-19th-century landscape style. Many of the sculptures, fountains, and architectural elements were brought from the demolished Visconti di Modrone villa near Lake Como in the 1900s. A favourite local Sunday-stroll spot, almost entirely unknown to tourists.
