Passeggiata del Gianicolo, 10, 00165 Roma RM, Italy
A 16th-century Renaissance villa designed by Giulio Romano, on the Janiculum Hill with one of the city's classic skyline views. Now home to the Finnish Institute in Rome, which restricts public visits to weekday mornings only. Built for Baldassarre Turini, datary of Pope Leo X; the gardens are simple but the architectural setting and view are exceptional.
