Surrounds the Trappist abbey of Tre Fontane — buy chocolate and beer from the monks.
Via di Acque Salvie, 1, 00142 Roma RM, Italy
A peaceful park surrounding the Trappist abbey of Tre Fontane in southern Rome — traditionally identified as the site of Saint Paul's beheading in 67 AD. The abbey shop sells chocolate, liqueurs, eucalyptus honey, and craft beer made by the monks. Combine with a visit to the three small ancient chapels marking the supposed sites where Paul's severed head bounced three times, each producing a spring of water (hence 'Three Fountains'). Reachable from Metro Line B (Laurentina station).
