An urban park in the Pigneto-Prenestino district, on the site of the former Snia-Viscosa textile factory. Famous for the 'Lago Bullicante' — an artificial lake that formed when underground excavations for a shopping mall accidentally hit the water table in the 1990s. Now a thriving urban wetland and biodiversity hotspot, plus the site of grassroots environmental activism. Free, popular with the bohemian Pigneto crowd.
