Forest and arboretum — managed by ARSIAL, the Italian agriculture research authority.
Via Casal Selce, 00166 Roma RM, Italy
A 100-hectare forest park in northwest Rome, originally an experimental forest planted in 1938 as part of Fascist-era cellulose production research. Now an arboretum with diverse Mediterranean and exotic tree species, walking paths, and educational signage. Good for nature walks; less developed than the central Roman villas.
