Specialist museum of the Italian early Middle Ages (5th–11th centuries) — Lombard goldwork, jewellery, weapons, and the spectacular opus sectile (cut-stone inlay) from the 4th-century AD Roman house at Ostia, the largest such floor surviving from antiquity.
