A classic open-air roller-skating gathering on the Pincio terrace above Piazza del Popolo. Members of the historic skating community — many decades-experienced — practise slalom, freestyle, and classical figure skating. Free to watch; an evocative, distinctly Roman experience. Lessons can be booked through the association. Great for kids who want to be inspired before trying skating themselves.
