Domus Romane di Palazzo Valentini

An archaeological visit experience that uses cinematic light projections, video, and sound to recreate ancient Roman patrician houses. Visitors stand on glass floors as mosaics, frescoes, and entire rooms are reconstructed in coloured light around them. More engaging for kids than a traditional ruin walk. Tours run on the hour; book ahead. Best for ages 8+; younger kids may find the 75-minute standing experience too long.
