Look for the deer head with a cross between its antlers atop the church — visible from Piazza Navona.
Piazza Sant'Eustachio, 19, 00186 Roma RM, Italy
Founded in the 8th century, with a baroque facade by Cesare Corvara (1721). Saint Eustace was a Roman general converted by a vision of Christ between the antlers of a deer he was hunting; the church roof bears a sculpted deer's head with a cross between its antlers, visible from much of the surrounding rooftops. Just south of Piazza Navona; next to the famous Sant'Eustachio coffee bar.
